Originally Niçoise, Anaïs Dorne comes to us from the University of Strathclyde, by way of Prof. Paul Griffin and the Ultracold Matter and Quantum Technology group - she is here on secondment, picking up skills related to precision instrumentation, atomtronics, and atom interferometry while providing an experienced hand with our new tunable laser as well as educating us about her microscopic optical waveguides… we won’t ruin the surprise as to why!
